Have you thought about cuddle for a backing, a whole blanket or just the binding? Just look at the new, fun cuddle that has arrived at the shop-
This is just a sampling, there are dot coordinates for these and many other animal prints such as leopard plus plain and raised dot coordinates. The name says it all – when you touch it, you want to cuddle with it. What fun stuff for kids and adults alike. It also makes wonderful scarves that will keep the winter chill away. Think “gifts.”
Suzy Sacks By This & That are all kitted for you and the kit includes the hardware. Grab a kit and have it made in a couple hours. Great gift idea for all ages. Think I mentioned in the last blog that this is a perfect size bag for the new stadium rules and what you will be allowed to bring (I am sorry if I am confusing you, I called this a Suzy Bag in the last blog – it is a Suzy Sack).
The Fall Gatherings Table Mat by Brandywine Designs is all kitted up now. These kits are great because you are only purchasing the wool that you need to complete it. Kit includes the pattern.
There may not be time to have this ready for this Thanksgiving but what a great project to prepare for next year. The Christmas Memories Wool Table Mat by Brandywine Designs is also kitted in just the right amount of wool and could be ready for this year or once again a great gift.
Here is a reminder: The Hampton Ridge BOM has only met 1 time this past Thursday and will be meeting for the 1st time this Saturday, November 23. If you forgot or were undecided about this BOM, there is still time and room for you to join in. This will be a lovely quilt and source of pride when completed.
Doris also wants to put an early notice out there that she will be having another Beginner’s Class starting January 12 and continuing on the 19th and 26th. These are Sundays and it will be held from Noon to 5:00. Grab a friend and come and learn a new skill or even if you have quilted before, you can use it as a refresher course. Kits are available.
Remember you can call The Noble Quilter and reserve sewing times in the classroom to get those projects done. There is nothing like dedicated sewing time to relieve that last minute stress.
Thought for the Week: Stress and decreased Joy can become the Holidays. Let’s simplify and enjoy what Thanksgiving and Christmas are really meant for.
