It is do much fun to see how quilters interpret the use of fabric and design. I really like how the same pattern can look so different with different choices in fabric. Then there are those that start with an idea and build their very own patterns.
Look at Yvonne’s quilt:
Yvonne started with the medallion and with the help of TNQ staff found the perfect fabrics to create her original quilt.
Marsha created her quilt for her daughter from Quilt MN Shop Hop fabric:
You can return to the Home page for TNQ and click on the Quilt MInnesota icon and see the fabric for the 2014 shop hop. It will be fun to work with this fabric. The dates for Quilt Minnesota are listed there also.
I (Jan) made this quilt for my granddaughter’s “big” girl bed. The pattern is “With a Twist” by bean counter Quilts. Pattern and fabrics are from TNQ and from a shop we found on a trip to Hawaii.
My originality centered around how my daughter was decorating her daughter’s room. Obviously bright colors are preferred.
Bring your creations into the shop. The entire staff loves to see them. It is very inspiring to see how people choose to use fabrics and patterns.
Come on in and see us soon,
